A college account book
provides a list of lay and clerical staff who served in the school for varying
lengths of time (e.g. Mr. Lawrence, described in the records as ‘Professor of
Vocal Music’, was on the staff for just one month) between 1865
and
the late 1870’s.

Until c. 1970
the staff was mainly clerical . During the seventies the balance gradually
changed and now
(2006) there is just one
priest on the staff, Fr. Joe Begley.
